City of Hoboken invites residents to join 2026 Pride Month events

The City of Hoboken and the Hoboken Pride Advisory Committee invite community members to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride Month this June at seven community events to support inclusivity.

Organized in partnership with the Hoboken Pride Advisory Committee, the City’s Division of Cultural Affairs, and local community organizations, this year’s Pride events offer opportunities for residents and visitors of all ages to come together in celebration.

“Pride Month is a time to celebrate love, authenticity, and the diversity that strengthens our community,” said Mayor Emily B. Jabbour. “Hoboken is proud to stand with our LGBTQ+ residents and allies, and these events reflect our City’s commitment to inclusion, visibility, and belonging. I encourage everyone to join us throughout June as we celebrate Pride together.”

“Celebrating Pride Month is one of the many ways Hoboken gives life to its commitment to be a safe and welcoming city for all,” said City of Hoboken Pride Advisory Committee Chair Cathy Williams. “We’re excited to have another great line-up of Pride events this June, and whether you’re a member of the LGBTQIA+ community or not, we hope you’ll join us.”

“It has been an honor to serve on the newly formed Hudson County LGBTQ+ Task Force to coordinate the priorities of equal rights and representation across all of Hudson County,” said Hoboken Pride Advisory Committee and Hudson County LGBTQ+ Task Force member David Bimbi. “Events like these are helping to bring the community together in that vein and I couldn’t be more excited to support Hoboken and the LGBTQ+ community.”

“As we kick off Pride Month 2026 in Hoboken, we celebrate the progress we've made together in building a more inclusive, welcoming, and vibrant community for LGBTQ+ residents, families, students, workers, and visitors,” said LGBTQ+ Community Liaison for the City of Hoboken, Laura Knittel. “Through expanded programming, meaningful partnerships, and opportunities for connection, Pride continues to reflect the values of acceptance, visibility, and belonging that make Hoboken stronger. We invite everyone to join us this June as we honor our community's diversity and continue working toward a city where every person feels seen, valued, and supported. Love is Love!”
