Hoboken to Unveil Mural by Local Artists

Hoboken Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla will cut the ribbon on Wednesday, August 15 at 6 p.m. on a fence mural, featuring artwork by local artists. The mural wraps around the fence of a construction project at 1425 Hudson Street.

“I’d like to thank Toll Brothers City Living for financing the project, which features work by 14 Hoboken artists, and our Cultural Affairs Administrator Geri Fallo for making this possible,” said Bhalla. “This mural is a sign that construction projects don’t have to be an eye sore for the community, and that art is as important to a community as development.”

The mural features work from Ibou Ndoye, Issa Sow, Ray Guzman, Tim Daly, Jennifer Morris, Eugene Gleason, John Patterson, Liz Ndoye, Sissi Siska, Claudia Kreiss, Jean-Paul Picard, Donna L. O’Grady, Jodie Fink, and Raisa Nova.

The project, Art Along the Fence, was previously done in 2012 for another Toll Brothers City Living construction site.
