Hoboken for the Holidays

Mayor Dawn Zimmer & the City of Hoboken invite you to the Holiday Crafts Fair, Christmas Tree Lighting, Holiday Banding Concert, and Menorah Lighting. See below for details.

Hoboken City Hall Holiday Crafts Fair 

Saturday & Sunday December 2nd & 3rd • 11am to 5pmHandicap accessible. Elevator available.

Unique Handcrafted Gift Items by local artists & crafters. Featuring: art, jewelry, fashion accessories, pottery, wooden home decor, hand knit scarves, hats, mittens, baby sweaters, baby clothes, Silly Chilly hot sauce, holiday ornaments & gift wrap, soap & body products, candles, sachets, dog & cat treats, hot & cold compresses & much more.

  • Meet Mrs. Claus. Shewill be doing face painting both days on the 2nd floor.
  • Nabi Photographyspecializes in life style & family portraits. They will be doing holiday photo sessions at the Hoboken Holiday Craft Fair.

Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

Tuesday, December 5, 2017, 5:00pm

In front of City Hall, 94 Washington Street With MC & host Elvis the Elf (aka Polka Dot), the Hoboken Fire Department and a visit by Santa Claus.

Featuring local school children singing popular Christmas songs, Hoboken High School Choir, Hoboken Middle School Choir, Steven Hunter Taylor & Kristen Hoyt, Hoboken High School Concert Band, Songs from A Hoboken Tale from Garden Street School of the Performing Arts, Cheer Dynamics All Stars  – 2017 ECAEDA All STARS NATIONAL CHAMPIONS, All Saints Day School and BOLD Arts, Daisy Troop 10222, Brownie Troop 12563, prizes and giveaways by radio station CBS FM  101.1, and much more.

 

Hoboken Holiday Banding Concert

Sunday, December 17thMaxwells, 1039 Washington StreetDoors open at 5:30pm; admission $10Hear some of your favorite, classic, holiday songs performed and reformed by your favorite local musicians. There are sure to be some new originals as well. Featuring performances by: Abbe Rivers, Jack Skuller (of The Skullers), Deena & Jon of The Cucumbers, Las Vandelays, Lloyd United,  Gene D. Plumber, Sensational Country Blues Wonders, Elena & Boo of Demolition String Band, The Gordys, Bianca Bob, Ed Fogarty, Tom Vincent and The Hoboken Holiday House Band, and many more.
