Community meeting on future of Marshall Street Substation

Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla and Councilman Ruben Ramos invite residents to a community meeting regarding future plans at the current site of the Marshall Street Substation. The meeting will take place on Thursday, January 30 at 6:30 pm at City Hall (94 Washington Street, basement conference room). As a part of PSE&G’s resiliency efforts, the Marshall Street Substation (2nd Street between Marshall Street and Harrison Street)will be consolidated with the Madison StreetSubstation (the block of 11th Street and Madison Street). As a result, the City will own the approximately one acre of land that was previously occupied and utilized by PSE&G at Marshall Street.

Residents are encouraged to attend and provide feedback about what features or amenities they would like to see at this location.
