Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla today invites Hoboken community members to complete an online survey to gather feedback for the revitalization of the Multi-Service Center.
To take the online survey, go to www.hobokennj.gov/mscsurvey. The survey is scheduled to close on Friday, March 24, at 6 p.m.
The two-story Multi-Service Center, at 124 Grand St, currently serves as a primary community resource for seniors, recreation, and more, as well as houses a variety of City department offices and non-profits. The site includes an exterior roller hockey rink, a small outdoor seating area, and an estimated 33,000 square feet of interior space.
The city is seeking to potentially upgrade the center to accommodate the growing demand for a diverse array of community and recreational activity space as Hoboken’s population continues to grow.
The design team will use the input collected from the survey and public engagement session held on Thursday, March 9, to create draft concepts on how best to adapt the current Multi-Service Center site to meet the community’s growing programmatic needs.
