City of Hoboken kicks off farmers’ market season uptown

The City of Hoboken is once again offering three farmers’ markets to provide residents with fresh produce and baked goods at three locations across the City this year.  

The Uptown Farmers' Market, located under the 14th Street Viaduct between Grand and Adams Streets, began last Saturday and will occur every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Dec. 20.  

The Hoboken Farmers' Market at Church Square Park will return to Garden Street between Fourth Street and Fifth Street starting on June 3. It will be held every Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. until Nov. 18.  

The Southwest Farmers’ Market, which launched in 2023, will return to the Southwest Resiliency Park starting on June 5. It will take place every Thursday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. until Oct. 30. Live musical performances will also occur on most dates between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

“Our farmers' markets offer vibrant community spaces that connect our residents with regional growers and small businesses,” said Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla. “We’re excited to offer markets that will be open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays across the city, making fresh, locally sourced food more accessible than ever. Thank you to the many vendors and partners who have helped to make these markets possible.”

All markets will offer nutritious fruits, vegetables, and other local products. Participating vendors will vary by market, but vendors include Stony Hill Farms, Hoboken Farms, Verde Harvest microgreens, PickleLicious, Cotton Cattle Co., Rogers Fresh Seafood, Paolo’s Kitchen, Nute Juice, La French Board cheese, Kel’s Kitchen granola, Babka Bailout, DoGood Donuts, That Pasta Club, FloraSylva cut flowers, Union Hill Farms, Melick’s Town Farm, LifeCap Farms gourmet mushrooms, Gourmet Nuts & Dried Fruit, Plantraw Foods, Amazing Sourdough, Hayley’s Donut, Sweetstuff Bakery, Empanada Lady, Hudson Grinding Knife Sharpening. Santé Juice and Community, and more.

Select vendors will accept SNAP benefits.
