2019 Annual Action Plan Public Hearing and Survey
The City of Hoboken Department of Community Development will host a public hearing on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 6:30PM at the Hoboken Multi Service Center, 124 Grand Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030, regarding its Annual Action Plan for Program Year 2019 for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. The City of Hoboken will gather public input on the content of the Annual Action Plan, which is created every year and assists the City of Hoboken in determining community needs. Public input will inform the City’s anticipated Annual Action Plan for Program Year 2019, which the City intends to submit to HUD for review and acceptance in May of 2019.

Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice Public Comment Period and Hearing
The City of Hoboken is soliciting comments on a Draft Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice. This study discusses fair and affordable housing needs, along with needs related to access opportunity and community resources in Hoboken. It also outlines strategies the City plans to take to improve fair housing. The study is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for jurisdictions and public housing authorities that receive community development and affordable housing grant funds.
The Draft Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice will be available for public review and comment until Sunday, March 9, 2019. The draft report may be viewed by clicking here.
A public hearing to receive comments on the draft will be held on March 6, 2019 at 7 PM at the Hoboken City Council Meeting, Council Chambers, City Hall, 94 Washington St, Hoboken.
