This Addendum # 1, dated February 25, 2019 is issued to modify the above mentioned bid documents and is hereby made part of the bid documents. Please attach this Addendum #1 to the original documents in your possession, and ensure same is included in your proposal.

Designated collected single-stream recyclables shall be collected Monday and Thursday evening between 11:30 P.M. and 5:30 A.M. The Contractor may request the collection day to be changed with approval by the City of Hoboken.
Limited Area Solid Waste Collection Service
Limited area solid waste collection service shall mean the collection of Type 10 &Type 13 waste on three (3) additional days from stores and public trash receptacles along public streets in the Limited Area, as well as from all public facilities within City limits.
The Contractor shall be required to collect trash from business establishments (“businesses”) in the limited area, as herein defined, not more than twenty (20) receptacles per business of refuse equipped with two carrying handles or 20 plastic bags, which are to be placed for collection by the storekeeper at the curb line. The Contractor shall not be required to pickup any container under limited area solid waste collection service which exceeds thirty-five (35) gallons in size.
The Contractor shall also be required to collect trash from public trash receptacles along City streets in the limited area and all public facilities within City limits.
Solid Waste shall be collected Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings between the hours of 11:30 P.M. and 5:30 A.M in the limited area. Service shall be in addition to the Solid Waste and Recycling Collection Service detailed above.

All collection services, as described in these specifications, shall be performed on the schedule set forth in Section 5.3.
3. Bid Proposal - Bid proposal has been changed. Delete the old bid proposal and use this version. Failure to submit the proper bid proposal will render the bid unresponsive. To obtain the new (revised form 2/22/2019), send email to purchasing@hobokennj.gov.
4. Bid Submission deadline remains the same: March 14, 2019 at 2:00 pm prevailing time.
This addendum will be provided to all vendors that requested the bid package, publish in the newspaper and posted on the City of Hoboken website to ensure compliance.
There are no other changes to the bid documents as part of this addendum.
