Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla and the City of Hoboken invite residents and visitors to the annual Hoboken Fall Arts & Music Festival on Sunday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Washington Street, between Observer Highway and Seventh Street. The event attracts over 30,000 visitors each fall and showcases the city’s vibrant cultural scene. It features live musical performances on two stages, a variety of eateries, and over 300 artists, makers, crafters, and vendors.
This year, Toronto-based band Dwayne Gretzky will headline the Observer Highway stage performing the classic hits of the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s. The 10-piece band, known as “Canada’s Greatest Party Band,” has built a large following based on their fun, energetic live performances, and will be performing in Hoboken as part of their US tour.
In addition to Dwayne Gretzky, the lineup this fall will feature returning favorites and some new acts including, the cast of Broadway's The Great Gatsby who will open the Observer Stage with a tap number from the opening of the Tony award-winning Broadway show.
"As the leaves begin to change, there’s no better time to come together as a community and celebrate Hoboken's incredible creative spirit," said Mayor Bhalla. "I encourage everyone to join us at this year’s Hoboken Fall Arts and Music Festival to experience a day filled with local art, live music, and delicious food. Whether you're a longtime resident or a first-time visitor, there’s something for everyone to enjoy."
