How often does PSEG prune trees near power lines?

PSEG maintains four (4) year schedule of pruning near power lines, as required by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities. The NJ BPU revisited the tree-trimming policy to help provide increased safety and reliability after Super Storm Sandy when more than 100,000 trees fell on power lines around New Jersey and caused extensive outages and damage.
