To mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on Hoboken small businesses, the City of Hoboken in collaboration with the County of Hudson, is providing emergency financial support through the Hoboken CARES Small Business Assistance Grant Program. The program will provide one-time grants of up to $20,000 to help offset the significant impact COVID-19 has had on businesses and to assist businesses in retaining and paying employees.
The City has initially identified close to $2 million in emergency relief funds to support the small businesses hardest hit by the pandemic.
The objective of this program is to offer financial assistance to small businesses in Hoboken to aid in maintaining their business and workforce. The application will be available beginning at noon on July 15, 2020 and will remain open through August 15th, 2020. Applications will be received on a rolling basis and awards will be made in the beginning of September. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
