4-hour free parking in garages with a $25 receipt

To encourage local dining and shopping, the City will offer free parking for up to four hours to those who show a municipal garage attendant a receipt of at least $25 spent at a local business or restaurant that day in the following municipal garages:

  • Garage B, 28 Second St.
  • Garage D, 215 Hudson St.  
  • Midtown Garage, 371 Fourth St.  

The free parking offer will be available on weekends starting Saturday, Nov. 29, through Jan. 2, 2026.

The City also offers a parking reservations program, allowing residents and visitors to reserve a parking space in Municipal Garage B, Garage D, and the Midtown Garage. Reservations can be made through the ParkMobile app and booked Monday through Thursday from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., and from 6 p.m. on Fridays to midnight on Sundays.

Free, 30-minute meter parking on Washington Street

The City is also offering free 30-minute parking along Washington Street on weekdays from 3 to 9 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Small Business Saturday, Nov. 29, through New Years Eve, Dec. 31, no discount or promo code required.

To receive the free 30-minute parking, drivers must initiate their parking session through ParkMobile with a Washington Street zone, and the discount will automatically apply to the transaction.
