Notice is hereby given that sealed contractor pre-qualification questionnaires will be received by the CITY OF HOBOKEN at the Office of the City Clerk, Hoboken City Hall, 94 Washington Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030 no later than 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 13, 2019.
THE CITY OF HOBOKEN IS SEEKING TO PRE-QUALIFY GENERAL CONTRACTORS PRIOR TO THE BIDDING OF THE PORTICO RESTORATION PROJECT AT HOBOKEN CITY HALL at 94 Washington Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030.Construction Bids for completion of the work will be requested in the Spring of2019.
Work includes thefollowing:
· Restoration of historic architectural brownstone using patching materials, dutchman repairs and replacement brownstone. Replacement of existing monumental stair treads (brownstone covered with concrete) with new granite treads.
· Restoreexisting historic lighting and add supplemental pendant lights. Replace existing damaged wiring.
· Providenew historically appropriate wood entrance doors and transom
A PRE-SUBMISSION MEETING WILL BE HELD AT HOBOKEN CITY HALL, 94 WASHINGTON STREET, ON Wednesday, February 27,2019 AT 10:00 AM. ATTENDANCE AT THIS MEETING IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED FOR GENERAL CONTRACTORS.
All submissions must be submitted on the Bidder Pre-Qualification Statement Forms furnished by the City. Supplemental project experience information and project experience photos may be submitted as additional materials. Bidder Pre-Qualification packages will be available at the pre-submission meeting for a non-refundable cost of $35.00. Bidder Pre-Qualification packages will also be available for a non-refundable cost of $35.00 beginning Tuesday February 19, 2019 at the offices of HMR Architects located at 821 Alexander Road, Suite 115, Princeton, NJ 08540 from 9:00AM to 5:00PM,Monday - Friday.
