NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF HOBOKEN
TOM OLIVIERI PARK IMPROVEMENTS
HUDSON COUNTY, NEW JERSEY
The City of Hoboken City Council will hold a Public Hearing on this project in the Council Chambers at Hoboken City Hall, 94 Washington Street, Hoboken, NJ at 7:00 p.m. during its regular meeting on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. The project site is located at 1221 Willow Ave, Block 174, Lot 11 and is approximately 5,000 square feet in size.
The City of Hoboken proposes to construct an inclusive playground, a Portland Loo public restroom, renovations to the spray park, as well as improvements to the park’s landscaping, paving, lighting, and furnishings. The City of Hoboken obtained grant funding from the Hudson County Open Space Trust Fund and NJ Department of Environmental Protection Green Acres Program for improvements at Tom Olivieri Park.
The public is invited to submit verbal comment on the change in use during the public hearing. Alternatively, written comment may be submitted to Hoboken City Hall at 94 Washington Street, Hoboken, New Jersey attn: Department of Climate Action and Innovation.
