The Zoning Board is to provide an independent body, empowered to grant relief from the strict application of Zoning Regulations (variances), approve certain uses of land (special exceptions), and hear appeals of actions taken by the City.
Zoning Board of Adjustment meets at 7PM on the third Tuesday of every month and are designated for Regular Meetings. Meetings held on the the fourth Tuesday of every month are designated for Special Meetings.
The following meeting dates are subject to change as necessary. The meetings are subject to change at the discretion of the Chairman of the Zoning Board.
This interactive map allows the public to easily view development projects approved or denied by the City of Hoboken Planning Board or Zoning Board of Adjustment, for projects where a Resolution was adopted by either Board between 2012 to present.
Users can view details such as a Zoning Board or Planning Boards’ decision, the year the decision was adopted, and a brief description of the applicant’s request. Users may also download a PDF of the full resolution, as well as explore the data using filters. Please note that the map does not comprise zoning applications or other types of applications that did not result in a Resolution of Approval or Denial from either the Planning Board or Zoning Board.
