The Hoboken Division of Cultural Affairs organizes cultural events for the City of Hoboken including the twice yearly Arts and Music Festival on Washington Street, Artists' Studio Tour, Citywide Art Walks, Hoboken Arts Gala, Harvest Festival at Pier A Park, Movies Under the Stars, weekly concerts in the Park during the summer months, Family Fun Nights, Art in the Park toddler program, Holiday Craft Fair and much more.

Hoboken Spring Artists' Studio Tour
Sunday June 4, 2023, 12pm to 6pm

The free, citywide, self-guided walking tour of local galleries, artists' studios, murals, and community art displays includes over 30 locations citywide. Meet the artists, learn about their inspirations, and discuss their creative process.

The tour features a variety of mediums, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, multi-media work, pottery, jewelry, and more. There will also be demonstrations and an artisan craft market along Sinatra Drive.

Come and experience the vibrancy of Hoboken's flourishing arts scene and meet many of our talented artists.

Hoboken Music History Project

“A Mile Square of Music: 1960 to 1970”

We are honored to announce “A Mile Square of Music,” a documentary about how the mile square city of Hoboken helped shape an impactful era in music history, won a 2022 Telly Award. It was a pleasure for our Branding Shorts team to work with the City of Hoboken and Geri Fallo to produce this award-winning film. Special thanks goes to the talented musical performers and club owners who participated in this documentary.

The Telly Awards, established in 1979, showcases the best work of TV and video for all screens. The Tellys receive over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents. Past winners include BET Networks, Comcast, ESPN, Fox, HBO, MLB, NBC, Ogilvy & Mather, The History Channel, Time Warner, and Viacom. Congrats to all who helped “A Mile Square of Music” documentary win this prestigious honor.
