PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

 

PURPOSE:The City of Hoboken is seeking funding through the State of NJ Urban Parks Program and the Green Acres Program for improvements at 800 Monroe Resiliency Park located at 800 Monroe Street (Block 87, Lot 1.01) in Hoboken, New Jersey(Hudson County).

 

PROJECT SCOPE: The City of Hoboken proposes to construct a resiliency park at 800Monroe Street, including tennis courts, a lawn area, a fitness equipment area,large and small dog runs, gardens, seating areas, shade structures, and other park appurtenances, along with subsurface storm water detention infrastructure. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, a preliminary cost estimate, and an environmental impact assessment for the project can be found at: hobokennj.gov/800monroe.

 

PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION: The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed plan on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 7:00p.m. The meeting will be held in person, as part of the regularly scheduled Council meeting.
