When a Hoboken resident has a NJ driver’s license with a Hoboken address on his/her license and does not have an address change decal affixed to his/her license, the following document is required for proof of residence:
a. A valid New Jersey driver’s license with a legal Hoboken address (front and back) *.
b. A current utility bill in the same name and Hoboken address as the applicant.
RC:
When a Hoboken resident has a NJ driver’s license with an address change decal affixed to his/her license showing his/her current Hoboken address, all of the following documents are required:
a. A valid New Jersey driver’s license with an address change decal showing a legal Hoboken address (front and back).
b. Proof of current vehicle insurance for vehicle in same name and Hoboken address as the applicant.
c. A current lease in the same name and Hoboken address as the applicant.
d. A current utility bill in the same name and Hoboken address as the applicant (Utility Bill 1).
e. A current utility bill in the same name and Hoboken address as the applicant (Utility Bill 2)
RT:
When a Hoboken resident does not have a Hoboken address on a New Jersey license, a minimum of three (3) of the following documents is required:
a. A valid deed for same legal residential Hoboken address in the name of the individual seeking a permit.
b. A current, original lease or rental agreement for same legal residential Hoboken address in the name of the individual seeking a permit.
c. A current utility bill or receipt for establishing service for same legal residential Hoboken address in the name of the individual seeking a permit.
d. A current tax bill for same legal residential Hoboken address in the name of the individual seeking a permit.
e. A current telephone bill for same legal residential Hoboken address in the name of the individual seeking a permit.
f. A checking or savings account statement within the past sixty days for same legal residential Hoboken address in the name of the individual seeking a permit.
g. First class mail received from any federal, state, or local government agency within the past six months for same legal residential Hoboken address in the name of the individual seeking a permit.
h. An official, certified letter from a Dean of Students attesting to residence at a legal off-campus residential Hoboken address.
i. An official academic course schedule for the current semester from a Hoboken academic local institution in the name of the individual seeking a permit.
j. Under rare, extenuating circumstances, other appropriate documentation sufficient for establishing residency of an individual may be permitted (upon approval of the Director of the Parking Utility).

When a senior/disabled Hoboken resident is seeking an annual Visitor parking permit for their guests, the following document is required:
a. Proof of residency (Any state or federal issued document with your current Hoboken address issued in the last 90 days).
b. Proof of age and/or state disability (Birth Certificate, Social Security Check, Medicare Card, State of New Jersey declaration of disability, transit disability documentation, etc.).
NS:
When an individual wishes to park a vehicle in a Hoboken parking facility at the non-resident rate, all of the following documents are required:
a. A valid driver’s license (any address, any state) (Both Sides).
b. Proof of insurance for same vehicle with applicant as named insured on policy.
c. A valid vehicle registration (any address, any state) (Both Sides).
NB:
When a business owner of a Hoboken-based business wishes to park a vehicle on-street or at a discount in a Hoboken parking facility, all of the following documents are required:
a. A valid driver’s license in the name of the applicant (any address, any state) (Both Sides).
b. Proof of insurance for same vehicle with applicant as named insured on policy.
c. A valid vehicle registration in the name of the applicant (any address, any state) (Both Sides).
d. Business license or State/Federal tax forms (i.e. NJ REG) with Hoboken address and applicant names as owner.
e. Notarized letter verifying that the business has no off-street parking obligations via zoning and/or developer agreement.
ND:
When an authorized designee of a Hoboken-based business wishes to park a vehicle on-street or at a discount in a Hoboken parking facility, all of the following documents are required:
a. A valid driver’s license in the name of the applicant (any address, any state) (Both Sides).
b. Proof of insurance for same vehicle with applicant as named insured on policy.
c. A valid vehicle registration in the name of the applicant (any address, any state) (Both Sides).
d. Business license or State/Federal tax forms (i.e. NJ REG) with Hoboken address and applicant names as owner.
e. Notarized letter verifying that the business has no off-street parking obligations via zoning and/or developer agreement.
f. Notarized letter authorizing an individual as a responsible officer of the business.
NE:
When an employee of a Hoboken-based business wishes to park a vehicle on-street or at a discount in a Hoboken parking facility, all of the following documents are required:
a. A valid driver’s license in the name of the applicant (any address, any state) (Both Sides).
b. Proof of insurance for same vehicle with applicant as named insured on policy.
c. A valid vehicle registration in the name of the applicant (any address, any state) (Both Sides).
d. A current pay stub in the name of the business payable to the applicant.
NH:
When an employee of Hoboken University Medical Center (HUMC) wishes to park a vehicle in a Hoboken parking facility at the HUMC rate, all of the following documents are required:
a. A valid driver’s license is required (any address, any state) (Both Sides).
b. Proof of insurance for same vehicle with applicant as named insured on policy.
c. A valid vehicle registration (any address, any state) (Both Sides).
d. Proof of employment at HUMC (standard letter provided by HUMC administration for express purpose).
VS:
When vehicle is owned and registered locally by applicant, the following document is required:
a. A valid NJ registration with same name and Hoboken address as applicant’s driver’s license (Both Sides).
VC:
When vehicle is a company car, all of the following documents are required:
a. A notarized letter from the fleet manager.
b. A current pay stub with the company’s name and the name of the applicant.
c. A valid vehicle registration in a company’s name (Both Sides).
VL:
When vehicle is a leased car, all of the following documents are required:
a. A valid NJ vehicle registration in a leasing company’s name (Both Sides).
b. Proof of insurance with the same name as the applicant with your Hoboken address.
VN:
When vehicle is not owned, registered locally, leased, or issued as a company car to applicant, all of the following documents are required:
a. Proof of insurance for same vehicle with applicant as named insured on policy.
b. A valid vehicle registration (any address, any state) (Both Sides).
