The City of Hoboken is launching free parking opportunities this holiday season. These initiatives will make parking and transportation easier.
1) Hoboken will be offering free parking in municipal garages B, D, & Midtown for up to 4 hours per day on weekends beginning Sat., Nov. 24 ("Small Business Saturday”) through Sun., Dec. 30th. To experience this free parking opportunity, drivers will need to show the garage attendant a receipt showing purchase of at least $20.00 spent at a Hoboken business or restaurant. If you spend $20 at the Craft Fair, be sure to ask for a special ticket at the Craft Fair reception table.
2) Hoboken will be partnering with Parkmobile to offer $2.00 off parking sessions through the use of a promo code on weekends beginning Sat., Nov. 24 ("Small Business Saturday”) through Sun., Dec. 30th. The code will be announced through the City’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.
3) Hoboken will be offering free Holiday Hop service on weekends from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. beginning Sat., Nov. 24 ("Small Business Saturday”) through Sun., Dec. 30th. The Holiday Hop route will operate bet. the Hoboken Terminal & 14th St., generally along the NJ Transit 126 bus route. Riders will be able to track the real-time location of the Holiday Hop using the SmartTraxx app (available in Apple App Store and Google Play Store).
